Our elders are passing. The elders, who laid the foundation for modern civil rights in the United States and the world over, are fading. The baton for Black liberation is fading and it is time for the generations of the present to continue their legacy. The legacy is not about simply replicating what was done, but utilizing and applying the lessons learned to be innovative for the liberation to be achieved tomorrow. Now is our time. It is Now. Who’s next to step up?
